I've been a fan of Tradlands for quite a while, so I literally jumped for joy when they reached out to me to feature a few pieces from the Fall 2017 Collection. In addition to their tried and true selection of women's button-ups, this season's collection also features some new wardrobe staples, including the perfect denim jacket and women's chino pant.
THE ATLANTIC Denim JACKET
Constructed out of selvedge denim, the Atlantic Denim Jacket is a modern update to the tried and true classic. Designed in a slightly oversized fit, this denim jacket hits right below the waist, creating a slim and flattering silhouette, while maintaining comfort.
Just like your favorite glass of wine, the Atlantic Denim Jacket is designed to improve with age. I can't wait to see how the dark wash builds character as it ages ... In the meantime, I need to find some quirky pins to add to it!
THE ORGANIC FIELD SHIRT
Constructed out of 100% soft-washed organic cotton poplin, the Organic Field Shirt is made to be lived in – from a day in the office polished off with heels and a blazer ... to a slow weekend topped off with cozy socks and a cup of coffee ... to weekend adventures paired with jeans and an oversized sweater or coat.
I've gone through several long sleeve button-ups over the years, but they all lacked one thing – a perfect fit. They were always either too short, too wide, too narrow, the list goes on. But Field Shirt ticks every box. I can confidently say that Tradlands has mastered the art of the long sleeve button-up.
THE TRANSIT CHINO
Constructed out of a durable, velvety smooth twill, the Transit Chino earned its name for a reason. Designed with a slightly tapered leg, these women's chino pants are incredibly flattering – even for those of us with hips – and easily transition from day to night, work to play, and week to weekend. If you're short like me, you can also roll them up and show off some fun twill taped outer side seam detailing.
Finding a pair of well-fitting pants has always been a struggle for me, so I was pleasantly surprised when I put these on and they fit perfectly. These pants are so good that my husband's first reaction when he saw me try them on was, "I want those!"
